Great, installed last week. Rolls down and up well. Especially the 40 meters, ideal for the large garden. In the picture you can see how I mounted it. On the inside of the shed and on the outside the hose. Works great.

Just a golden tip for when it rolls up badly: Make sure that water is out of the hose! Turn off the tap and let the last bit run out by turning on the syringe. Otherwise the hose will be too thick in the reel and will not roll up the last few meters due to lack of space.
Very happy with it! Very easy to use.

What a product!
Those were the thoughts immediately upon opening the package. Solid, professional, solid and clear instructions are included. The installation was also flawless and accurate.
After the assembly came the use, and I have to report that I like the retractor the most. Unrolling to the desired location is very easy without much effort, and without kinks in the hose. Yes, that producer's promise is fulfilled. After use, rolling it up is child's play. Fast, silent, and without knots.
Afterwards you only have to enjoy your new acquisition and the ease of use!
In short : Hozelock Autoreel makes it happen ! RECOMMENDED!!

According to our garden hose expert
With a 40m length, you can reach the corners of your garden more easily.
You can always store the garden hose on the wall neatly and without kinks with a wall reel.
The hose rolls up automatically in the reel after use.
Additional accessories aren't included, such as a spray nozzle and sprayer.
The Hozelock Auto Reel 40m is a wall hose box with an automatic roll-up mechanism. The box comes complete with a 40m long garden hose. You also get a 2m supply hose, a garden sprayer with adjustable jet, all adapters, and the materials for mounting it to the wall. You can hang the reel on the wall, so the hose is flexible and can be pulled out to any length. The box can also rotate 180 degrees, so you can easily walk in any direction. After use, you can roll up the hose by tugging on it briefly. You can use a padlock to secure the Auto Reel against theft.
