I like this monopod. I use it in combination with a manfrotto monopod tripod head to give my camera more stability when shooting macro and it works very well. For me weight and size was the most important and this is about the smallest monopod available. I find the turning mechanism to block the extension works faster than the levers Manfrotto uses. Fully extended, the viewfinder of my camera is just below eye level (I am 1.85m tall). Tip: if you use a tripod head, you can completely remove the wheel at the top to make everything even more compact.

Super light natural (carbon), handy size fits in or on anything. Setting up a 6-piece monopod with swivel clamps takes a bit more time than, for example, 3-piece with click system. Fully extended, the leg is no longer really stiff, slide each segment back a centimeter and everything is very sturdy. Is without a tripod head, the reversible screw at the top allows you to mount all usual devices, I myself use a k20x ball head on it. ideal height for me (1.87m)

According to our tripod expert
Useful in places where tripod stands aren't practical, or not allowed.
Made from sturdy and light carbon.
The 6 legs slide out to 154cm.
There's no tripod head included.
Sometimes you're not allowed to use a tripod, or it's inconvenient to do so, for examples at concerts, sports games, or crowded locations. A monopod is a useful and compact alternative. Collpased, the Sirui P-326 only measures 38cm. The legs slide out in 6 sections until the tripod is 154cm high. Another advantage is that the monopod is made from carbon; a strong and light material. By adding a tripod head to the monopod, you increase your freedom of movement.
