- Reviews
With the Demeyere Glass Lid 28cm, you can seal your Demeyere pan tightly. This helps the pan heat up quickly, and gives you a lot of control over the cooking process. This saves energy while you cook. Because the lid is transparent, you can easily keep an eye on the cooking process and adjust it where needed. Using a lid also keeps your food warm longer and helps prevent splatters. The glass Demeyere lid is oven-safe, but not at a temperature above 230 °C. It doesn't withstand use under the broiler.

It is a solid lid in terms of material, but because the vapor cannot escape, it rattles during cooking.

This lid has a good handle, which makes it easy to hold. Through the glass you can keep an eye on exactly how the dish to be fried / baked is going. The lid ensures that the heat benefits the dish. Another big advantage is that the lid is dishwasher safe.
