According to our mouse expert
Natural hand position: you keep your hand in a natural position, so you prevent hand and wrist complaints.
Move with your fingers: you can scroll, swipe, and click on the Multi-Touch surface without buttons.
Less easy to take with you: the large size makes the Apple Magic Trackpad less easy to take with you.

if you already like the trackpad of your laptop, you don't have to get used to it anymore! No more sliding the mouse over your desk, the trackpad stays in place.

The trackpad is a super device! I have worked with a magic mouse for several years, but have now switched to a trackpad. The multitouch possibilities are endless, more than what you can do with the magic mouse. The lightning port for charging (and the integrated battery) is also great, much better than having to change batteries. Super device!

This track pad works great. Totally different story than a mouse. Perhaps also because I've been working on MacBook pro for years, but still. Price is traditionally ridiculously high at Apple.
