According to our Cooktop expert
You can use the flexible cooking zone as one large zone or as two separate zones.
The boost function heats pans up extra quickly.
This cooktop features a child safety lock.
The cooking zones don't automatically switch off when your pan overflows.
You need a 5-way connector, cord, and socket for this cooktop. The connector isn't included.
With the Bosch PVS645FB1E induction cooktop, you can put a meal on the table quickly, easily, and safely. The 4 cooking zones are almost immediately at full power thanks to the HighSpeed ¿¿glass and the PowerBoost. Waiting is a thing of the past with this cooktop. You have the choice of 17 different power settings, so you can easily choose the right setting for whatever it is you're preparing. Is your meal ready? Then switch over to the Keep Warm function. That way, your food stays warm and tasty, even later in the evening.
Very user-friendly, cooking is easy and intuitive. No unnecessary fuss. At a high setting, the device does buzz through the fan. A cable is supplied, 1.5mm2, where it is recommended to combine the strands in the plug. For fire safety, I immediately mounted a 2.5mm2 cable on it.

Beautiful and handy induction plate.
Even easier than the predecessor, which unfortunately did not survive the particularly cowardly attack of a falling metal stick blender on the side edge after 9 years of loyal service. A warned person counts for 2, hence a copy with a metal protective edge.

It always takes some getting used to when you use a different energy source for cooking. Induction is a completely different sport because it is not the energy source that gets hot, but the pan. For this it is necessary that you use pans with iron in them. Many pans already have that, but full aluminum or stainless steel pans may not work. Buy a magnet and try if the pan is magnetic. Then this one is suitable. For example, very old-fashioned pans such as a sheet steel wadjan or wok and a cast iron frying pan are also fine.
