I've only had the fridge for a week, but my experience has been absolutely positive.
The reason and the experience:
The previous refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Because it was an old thing, the rubbers were torn in a few places, there was a lot of ice heaped up in the freezer and, moreover, mold keeps growing in those cracks, no matter how many times you remove it. So I thought the No Frost function was an important condition. Of course I haven't had it long enough to benefit from it, but I do enjoy the fact that I don't have to defrost it anymore.
The second reason why I wanted this refrigerator is the layout. The vegetable drawer is just a container and not two small ones next to each other. At least a leek fits in here. My vegetables are allowed to lie next to each other, the atmosphere is very pleasant, I see no reason to separate them. On the contrary! I like that the drink is low in the door and not just above the vegetable drawer. Because the vegetable drawer is still large, the containers don't have to be that deep, so the bottles are just at the bottom of the door. You'll think it's important :)
And the reason that completely convinced me is the top compartment in the freezer. It may be trivial, but I already find it so handy that the bread we take every day is so easy to reach! Open the door with one hand and you grab it with the other hand instead of opening the door, messing around with a drawer or flap for which the door is always just not wide enough open and then grab the bread. And again when you put it back. I sound like a tell sell commercial, but I don't understand why more freezers don't have this, it's a revelation to me.
The drawers underneath are also big enough for the rest of the things, but the bread is immediately within reach. Even my friend (who didn't quite understand that this was the deciding factor in the choice) is really starting to appreciate it.
Furthermore, it is of course also an energy-efficient refrigerator, I think it is beautiful and I certainly do not think it is expensive if it provides so many important things.
The cons:
I read as a negative that it would be a 'less quiet' refrigerator, but I don't understand that. I have an open kitchen and I can't really hear it. So that downside doesn't work for me.
If I have to be really critical, I notice that fingers are quickly on the door. It is of course a material that you quickly see fingerprints on, so I could have seen that coming.
And the light is so clinically white, a little bluish even. My previous fridge had a much softer, yellowish light so it's taking some getting used to, but I'm confident getting used to it will solve this problem completely.
The delivery:
I think it's important that you can choose the delivery day yourself and it's also important to me that they lift the thing up the stairs. I once almost bought a dishwasher from a company before this and I read at the last minute that they put it at the bottom of the stairs, even if your front door isn't there. Not very convenient if you live in a porch. That's why I ordered from CoolBlue and since then I don't want anything else.
I was hoping it would be my turn in the morning and it was. They were the first to show up at my doorstep and that suited me really well. It is also handy for them because I live in the middle of the city and it immediately gets stuck if you try to stand somewhere with such a car after nine o'clock.
They were very friendly guys, remembering that it would be more convenient to take the old fridge down first and then bring the new one up as it would have been very tight to maneuver them past each other. I could appreciate.
After it stood nicely straight (difficult, very crooked house) he walked me through everything neatly, gave advice about when it could be switched on and what stickers were in it and I could watch what I was signing for.
Delivery just couldn't have been better. I have no experience with customer service or anything like that because everything I have ordered has always been perfect.
All in all, top delivery and a good fridge that caters to all my particular preferences for details like no split vegetable drawer, open freezer compartment and drinks compartment low in the door.
I can recommend him to everyone, unless you really hate blue-white lights or fingerprints...
