Red DS1

I use this stand for my travel kit, along with the red podmic. That works well. Had no problems as others describe them with tipping microphones. I can imagine that this is an issue if you want to put a filter in front of it, but for me it works fine.

It is also easy to take with you, the stand is disassembled in no time and then takes up little space. Much better than the big boom arms that want to fold out in your bag, or are too long to close the zipper.

Ideal for microphones, but without shock mount and pop filter. With shock mount and pop filter (in combination with a large diaphragm condenser microphone), this tripod falls over. Microphone is easy to attach. Mic + shock mount not. You need a connector for that. Design is less is more. So do you want to start using a shock mount and pop filter? Then this is not recommended. Don't you want this? Then yes!

I wanted to use this in combination with the Rode Procaster, but the position is unstable, and the microphone turns out to be too heavy for this position because it falls over. So unusable. It is also not possible to tell the position at the correct height (the minimum height is still too high for many who are sitting at the table).
