According to our monitor expert
With a 1ms response time, you won't have any issues with ghosting whilst gaming.
The FreeSync technology prevents stutter whilst gaming, if you have an AMD video card.
Thanks to the thin bezel, this monitor is suitable for a multi-monitor setup.
If you want to game at framerates higher than 75Hz, you need to select a monitor with a higher refresh rate than this one, such as 144Hz.
The iiyama G-Master Black Hawk G2730HSU-B1 is a monitor for novice gamers who only play in Full HD. The monitor has a 75Hz refresh rate. Ghosting isn't a problem thanks to the 1ms response time, and there's very little input lag when you connect your console to the monitor. The design is smooth and the screen has thin bezels, so you can have a setup of 2 or more monitors. Adjust the black equalizer to your wishes, so you'll spot your enemies a lot faster in dark scenes. Do you have an AMD video card? Then FreeSync will make sure your monitor works better with the video card to ensure stable frame rates.

Design
Monitor (largely) meets expectations. The disadvantage, however, is that the screen on the images appears as good as borderless on the side and top. However, that is not quite the case. The moment you turn on the monitor, you will see that the image stops about an inch from the edges. So you have black edges all around, which are not shown in the product photos. Sorry about Iiyama. Image quality is good, especially at higher video resolutions. In addition, it is very colorful, which comes in handy for photo and video editing. I myself have two of these monitors attached to a dual monitor stand, so that the monitors can be moved independently of each other.
What immediately struck me is that fingerprints are very visible when the monitors are turned off and are difficult to wipe off. This will be more than average in my case as I have to grab my screen to move it (movable VESA arm). Not really a problem but worth mentioning.
What is a problem, however, is that within the first hours of receiving it, the first dead pixel seemed to show itself. A gentle, well-placed tap with the nail was enough to make it disappear again.
The design is fairly standard; the monitor is not out of place anywhere. Too bad it has a plastic frame instead of an aluminum edge. That looked a bit like the product photo.
In summary, it is a good solid monitor for the money you spend. The monitor does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. Have not regretted this purchase and that says enough I think.

Nice/simple design. Clear image and nice tight colors. This can of course still be adjusted according to your choice in the menu.
