According to our multi-tool expert
Thanks to the oscillating movement, you can use the multi-tool for sanding, sawing, grinding, and scraping.
The multi-tool is a part of the Bosch POWER FOR ALL 18V battery platform, so you can also use batteries from this platform on this tool.
The speed goes up slowly, so you can keep control of the multi-tool.
You don't get a battery, so you can't get started right away.
The Bosch AdvancedMulti 18 (without battery) is a multi-tool that works on an 18V battery (not included). This is useful when you're working somewhere without power supply. You also get the option to attach an extra handle for more grip and control. This handle dampens vibrations, which makes working more pleasant. You already get 3 attachments, such as a plunge-cutting saw blade for cutting shapes, a segment blade for various cutting tasks, and a sanding pad with sandpaper for sanding work. The depth stop prevents you from sawing too deep into the material. You can handle various tasks with the AdvancedMulti 18.

Very handy tool for hard-to-reach places

Handy tool with which you can do what it says on the box (sawing, sanding, cutting). With the battery you can work continuously at the highest speed for about 40 minutes. The device does make a lot of noise (an average of 84 dB without load). The number of accessories that were included is limited and the accessories are on the expensive side. You can work hand-tight thanks to the extra handle that can be mounted. The device is useful for performing chores in places that are not easy to reach because you do not have to take into account a cable hanging from it. For larger jobs it is better to use an electrical device.
