GoPro Shorty

As far as I'm concerned, this is an essential accessory for your GoPro. It delivers three key functions (hold, selfie stick and tripod) in a size that still keeps the GoPro small and manageable. The main price that GoPro asks for this is unfortunately not justified by the material used. This is just clattering plastic (annoying for sound recordings), with a smooth surface that makes it easy to slip out of your hand. A wrist strap for safety would therefore have been nice. Despite this, the plastic does feel sturdy. I haven't been able to find anything comparable in terms of functionality/size, so I definitely recommend it.

Received the Shorty yesterday and today unpacked and viewed.

I'm now in doubt whether I should send it back to Coolblue or not.

• On the one hand, the Shorty is exactly what I'm looking for; small and light.

• On the other hand, it gnaws at me that I had to pay a serious amount for this tripod. It is a simple tripod (which is good in itself because that's what I was looking for) made of very light plastic (I'm less enthusiastic about it) which in my experience should not have cost more than € 15. You really pay the premium for the Gopro brand. I also have my doubts about how long it will last...

So unfortunately I'm not convinced yet.

It is convenient to take with you due to its compact size. This has been my most used accessory for 2 years now.
