I bought these Razer Nomma 2.0 Chroma gaming speakers to replace my old Logitech speakers. I have already mentioned in other product reviews that by sitting at home during the Corona crisis, I have taken gaming back from the dust. So I also changed my setup. My old Logitech speakers were broken, so I started looking for quality gaming speakers.
My setup consists of all Logitech products so I also looked at Logitech speakers to complete my setup. For help, I also scoured the internet for lists of the top gaming speakers of the moment (which I always do with electronics). The Logitech G560 speakers are on many lists at the absolute top in terms of the full gaming experience. However, these speakers have an incredibly strong subwoofer. I live on the third floor of an apartment, so I was quickly concerned about the potential nuisance these speakers would cause to my neighbors. That is why I also looked further at other gaming speakers and that is why I ended up with these Razer gaming speakers. They are in many lists in the top speakers, despite the lack of a subwoofer, since this is a 2.0 set. I can hear you say it's not a Logitech product so that's a real shame because it doesn't fit in my kit, and it is. However, the branding on the speakers is minimal (only Razer is on the side) so it is all in all not too bad.
The installation is relatively simple. You connect the right speaker with the power and USB cable while you also connect it to the left speaker. I have to say that this last cable does not go very well in the left speaker, it is a bit loose and in the beginning it sometimes lost the signal. However, now (if you don't have to touch it anymore), this is no longer a problem. In the left speaker you have the option to connect an AUX device or headphones.
After installing the Razer Synapse software, you can choose the color and sound profile in the program. This is fully customizable and convenient. I just let all the RGB colors rotate around the speakers in a wave, so they stand out nicely.
And then you can actually enjoy the beautiful sound that these speakers give. The sound is clear, has enough bass through the built-in bass ports, can be nice and loud, ... . The operation is simple and sleek with two matte black buttons that do not stand out in the design. The right button is for the volume (if you turn this you will see the LED strip change to green and so it indicates the percentage via the speaker), if you press this you switch the set off. The left button is the bass button where you can of course adjust the bass. The difference is noticeable but don't expect it to have the effect of a subwoofer. They remain bass ports of course.
In short, a high-quality gaming speaker set that really measures itself in terms of sound with the better speaker sets.
PS: If you don't need RGB lighting, you can opt for the Razer nomma 2.0, a lot cheaper and the same sound!

Well, not much to say about it, Nice simple design, a bit large, but that is also reflected in the clear sound. Missing something on the bass side, but fine enough for a 2.0 for me.
mainly use this for playing music or watching Youtube.
Cables are tired - or too long if you're not really into cable management,

nice speakers, nice sound, nice design, chroma lights are nice, but would have preferred them a bit brighter.
It's nice that you can link these speakers nicely with Razer Synapse.
