Product description

The NZXT Kraken M22 is a compact ready-to-use water cooler for your processor. You install the 120 millimeter fan on your computer case and place the pump on your processor. That way your cpu stays cool even when you play demanding games or overclock your processor. Via the software of NZXT you regulate the fans and set the speed seamlessly. So you limit the noise level if you can and let the fans run at full speed if necessary. You set the LED lighting on the cooling block to your favorite color or connect it to your other components.

  • Pros:
    Compact components
  • Pros:
    Easy CAM setup
  • Pros:
    Temp drop over 20+ degrees
  • Con:
You can not add an adapter for a 140mm fan the RAD hoses are in the way
  • Con:
Fan at full speed is a bit loud
  • Con:
Cheap AMD bracket a screw came loose and almost overheated

The install wasn't fun, a bolt came loose and I almost overheated my CPU when benchmarking.

I had to pull the CPU bracket out and reinsert the CPU mounting screws a few times until they sat flush on the motherboard.

No my max temp when gaming in Black ops 4, Ovewatch is 46 C max even during long gaming sessions(2hours+). The CPU idles at 29 C depending on ambient room temps.

Running a AMD Ryzen 1700 OC @ 3.7GHZ on a Gigabyte Aorus B450 M with Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste.
