According to our mobile phone expert
The large 4000mAh battery easily lasts more than a day on a single charge.
Thanks to Android One, you're guaranteed to receive regular software and security updates.
Watch movies and series on the compact Full HD screen.
With 32GB of storage, this phone fills up a lot more quickly than, for example, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite 64GB.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is a smartphone that you don't need to charge often, thanks to the large 4000mAh battery. You can easily make it through the day on a single charge. Since the Mi A2 Lite runs on Android One, you don't have any pre-installed apps draining your battery and/or taking up storage space either. You do frequently and quickly receive the latest security and software updates. That means even a fairly affordable phone like the Mi A2 Lite will always be up to date. At 5.84 inches, the screen is nice and compact, but the Full HD resolution still gives you a sharp image.

As an Apple fanboy, I've worn out a ton of iPhones. After a lot of whining and nagging with the batteries, I started looking for something else. A phone with Android. I found the Samsungs and Huaweis of today irritating with the obligatory sleeves over android. When I ended up at Xiaomi after some Google work, this really appealed to me. Good hardware for a decent price. There had to be a catch. So far I haven't found this adder yet. Phone has an intensely beautiful screen and Android One is super user-friendly. Fast enough for the daily Dumpert and YouTube work and even for a game of clash of clans. What surprised me the most was the battery life. With a full battery I can easily last 2 days. I am not an active user, but I do watch videos or photos daily via Instagram and other providers. Conclusion: great phone for daily use with a nice price tag.

After a week of working with the MI A2 Lite, I am very enthusiastic. I didn't think I could find a smartphone in this budget with such a modern design and good specs. Battery is just great. With my first load I lasted 4 days!! Setup + download apps + .... all done in those 4 days. Hopefully it stays that way. The included case is something you rarely see. The case is certainly solid and of course fits nicely around the device. However, it is a bit too light for my application. For example, if you place the device with the screen down, it is still effectively on the screen. A slightly higher edge would have been nice there. But this is still a plus!

This phone came out on top in my "budget phone" comparisons, although you won't label this phone this way. Because it works on Android One, it is very fast and there are few extra apps on it. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. The only downside of the phone is that the camera works really well during the day, only much less at night and in artificial light.
