Our Bosch had stopped running after 15 years. I briefly considered repairing it, but given the small capacity of 5 kg with a family of 4 decided to go for a new bigger one. Our choice was between the brands Siemens/Bosch and Miele because we think these are the better brands.
My parents have a Miele that has been running for about 18 years and other acquaintances have also been using their Miele for a long time. that is why we have now also chosen this beautiful machine.
After I put it in place, I first ran the installation wax round. took a long time, but yes. After the first wash with twin dos, the laundry came out fine and reasonably dry after spinning at 1600. The second round we couldn't select twin dos but since I took the bottle out and pressed it back in again, no problem anymore had. Must have been a novelty. Twin dos suits us very well and simply saves soap.
I think the centrifugation is fantastic, you hardly notice it. Compared to the old machine that sometimes banged because of the distribution in the drum because it was really level.
What also appeals to me is that the machine uses energy efficiently and that no competing machine currently scores as well as this one, top.
After longer use of the machine you will of course become more familiar with the different programs and they are all useful. the only thing is that they can take a long time but you can choose a short program and then you can "make meters". This is certainly possible due to the large capacity of the drum.
We are very happy with it and can certainly recommend this machine.
