According to our router expert
Mesh WiFi allows you to create 1 large WiFi network with a strong signal throughout your house.
This router supports WiFi 6, so you can set up a faster connection and have better coverage.
With a simultaneous tri-band router, you can set up 3 wireless networks at the same time.
To make use of all the improvements offered by WiFi 6, you'll need suitable devices, but the stations will set up a faster connection between them in any case.
This system only has 2 mesh stations, so your WiFi coverage is limited to 2 floors of a townhouse.
Installation was a bit more difficult, didn't get to the router at first. It only worked after I used the app from my old router (also from Netgear). The app indicated that the Orbi was not supported by this app and switched to the Orbi app. Then I did get to the router and I was able to set everything up. So that can be improved.
Design is beautiful/friendly (realize that it's personal)
Connection and speed is top! Just like the stability.
