You can also touch per block which position you want, but I'm there with me always one next to it, 5 instead of 6 for example, so that takes some getting used to with good aiming. The induction hob has a number of handy extras, such as the timer, which speaks for itself. Nice and practical, the plate turns off automatically when the times go. A child lock, which I find handy because I can be quite a klutz and let water overflow from the pan and then the hob responds to that by switching different zones on and off.
