According to our monitor expert
Thanks to the NVIDIA G-Sync technology, your NVIDIA video card and monitor will synchronize and you won't get screen tearing.
The QHD resolution of this screen shows images that are two times sharper than Full HD.
You can create an ergonomic gaming posture by tilting, turning, or adjusting the monitor in height.
This monitor doesn't have built-in speakers to play the music of your games.
The MSI Optix MAG274QRF is a 27-inch HDR gaming monitor for those who want to game smoothly in high resolution. You can play even the most demanding games with the 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, without screen tearing. In addition, the monitor is suitable for next-gen console gaming. Connect your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S to the monitor and enjoy smooth gameplay. Thanks to the QHD resolution, you can experience games two times sharper than in Full HD. Combined with the DisplayHDR 400 support, you'll get vibrant colors and razor-sharp images. Do you have an NVIDIA video card, such as the RTX 3080? You won't get screen tearing, because the G-Sync technology will ensure that it synchronizes with the fps amount of your monitor. You can use the USB-C port to connect and charge peripherals via your monitor, like a gaming laptop. In addition, you can set up an ergonomic gaming posture by tilting, turning, or adjusting the monitor in height. As a result, you'll prevent neck and back issues after a long CS:GO session.
Note: for QHD gaming, you'll need a powerful video card, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU or AMD Radeon RX 5000 series GPU, an Xbox One, Xbox Series X or S, or a PlayStation 5.
Note: the maximum refresh rate via HDMI is 144Hz. For 165Hz gaming, you need to connect the monitor via DisplayPort or USB-C.

My previous monitor still works fine but only at 60Hz, with tearing, an outdated response time and overshoot because I used the highest overdrive setting without vsync (to avoid more delay). This MSI monitor is a huge improvement in comparison. I can now play at at least 160Hz with gsync, without tearing, a better response time without overshoot in the second highest overdrive setting. You can set up multiple profiles and quickly switch between them for e.g. different game genres, work and watch video.
You do have to sacrifice a USB port on your PC for the menu, but you get two in return via the USB hub of the monitor. The monitor stand is perfectly adjustable, but for a good working height you have to put a block or box of 10-15 cm under it. I used to use a monitor arm, but unfortunately it just doesn't fit because the vesa connection of the MSI monitor is recessed. On the other hand, a good excuse to buy a better monitor arm that does fit.
Overall, I am very satisfied.
