According to our pan expert
The Tefal Thermo Spot turns solid red when the right temperature has been reached.
Thanks to the titanium coating, the pan is very scratch resistant.
This pan is suitable for all heat sources, including induction.
A plastic handle is less durable than stainless steel and has a chance of melting.
With the Tefal Unlimited Crepe Pan 25cm, you can make tasty and fresh crepes. This pan has a titanium coating. Thanks to this coating, the crepes don't stick to the pan and you don't have to worry about scratching it. You can even use metal kitchen utensils without damaging the pan. With this pan, making crepes is a piece of cake. You'll know exactly when the pan has reached the right temperature thanks to the Thermo Spot, which turns solid red when the right temperature has been reached. For a longer lifespan, it's best to wash the pans by hand.
Durability
I've been able to test the pans for a few days now. The pans feel very heavy in quality and look super chic. I've cooked with it a few times now and nothing sticks in the pan. Everything just slides off. The pan is also very easy to clean. The pans are big enough for my family of 5 people. In short, I am very happy with them and recommend them to everyone.

After the 2nd use (with a wooden spoon) the non-stick coating starts to wear off. This should be the most scratch resistant of all tefal pans... worthless.

I've been looking for a good pancake pan for a while. Several I had to throw away because the bottom warped. That won't happen with this one, the bottom is heavy and thick. So it takes a little longer for it to get hot enough. The Thermo-Signal in the bottom slowly turns red throughout and that is the pan hot enough to bake in. The Titanium coating is safe and super strong, also for metal spatulas. So turning a thin pancake or omelette is easy, also because of the low edge. To extend the lifespan, it is recommended to wash by hand.
