Goes smoothly. You've shredded a whole pack of paper like that. I read with many shredders that they quickly heat up and switch off, but I have not experienced it with this one.

My previous shredder lasted almost 25 years. It took me a day to part with it, a wasted day. The old device regularly jammed. I first had to remove all the jammed shreds with pliers. I have not experienced any jams with this device. With this shredder I have filled several garbage bags with shreds in a few hours. I was initially afraid that after five minutes I would have to wait half an hour to prevent overheating. The device would switch off automatically after five minutes. I have not experienced this after intensive use. In practice, the device does not run continuously. You take a stack of paper, I put a maximum of four to five sheets through it at a time. Then I take a new stack, between the first and the second stack the device stands still for a few seconds. This is probably enough to prevent overheating.
I ordered oil at the same time as the purchase. After a few full containers I oil the device. The device continues to shred smoothly. The oil is sealed by the way. Just unscrew the spout, remove the sticker from the bottle, and also remove the cardboard from the spout. Elsewhere I read that large quantities come out of the bottle at once after cutting off something from the spout. Don't do this! When removing the two seals mentioned, only drops come out when using it, once back and forth above the shredding part. Then put it in the reverse position for about three seconds and the shredding goes smoothly again.
I heartily recommend this device, including the accompanying oil, for home use.
