Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our semi-automatic espresso machine expert
Heats up quickly: the espresso machine heats up in 3 seconds thanks to the ThermoJet system, so you can make coffee quickly.
More control over the milk foam: manually froth milk with the steam wand, so you decide the texture and temperature yourself.
Also fits in small kitchens: the machine fits in any kitchen thanks to its narrow size, even on a small counter.
No built-in coffee grinder: you can’t grind your own coffee beans with this machine, so you’ll need a separate coffee grinder.
No help via a menu: without a display, the device doesn’t guide you through a menu with options.
Really not nice to use

For me this is an ideal device. Small, compact, good looks. With just a few buttons it is possible to conjure up a perfect espresso. And the milk frother does its job perfectly! Because I like to make a latte, it is super practical for me that there is so much space between the strainer holder and the plateau on which you put your cup. However, I can imagine that if you only go for an espresso, that long distance is less convenient (espresso cools down faster due to the longer route to the cup). But you could solve that by putting a little boost on it. The device is easy to use. I'm not super handy but the simplicity of the design means I don't run into any difficulties. The manual is also very clear and it contains a handy problem solver. I'm a big fan!

Annoying at first: no anti-vibration post available, no cup raiser/standard available DELonghi Decato does not have this problem
