For me this is an ideal device. Small, compact, good looks. With just a few buttons it is possible to conjure up a perfect espresso. And the milk frother does its job perfectly! Because I like to make a latte, it is super practical for me that there is so much space between the strainer holder and the plateau on which you put your cup. However, I can imagine that if you only go for an espresso, that long distance is less convenient (espresso cools down faster due to the longer route to the cup). But you could solve that by putting a little boost on it. The device is easy to use. I'm not super handy but the simplicity of the design means I don't run into any difficulties. The manual is also very clear and it contains a handy problem solver. I'm a big fan!

The Bambino is a good piston machine that perfectly matches our living situation. It's a nice, small design that fits well in our small kitchen. Since not a huge number of cups are made per day, we do not need a vending machine. The heating system is really super fast. Within a few seconds you can make an espresso that is of the right temperature. The steam pipe took some practice, but because of the many videos online, we quickly managed to give it our spin. Since I drink quite a few cappuccinos myself, I was very happy with this. It also took a while before we realized how the fork was in the handle when making the coffee. By trying different settings in terms of coffee fineness, we discovered our favorite espresso. You can really taste the difference of fresh coffee beans compared to the cups we normally use.
