The Razer Basilisk V3 is a fine, wired gaming mouse with many options. You set it completely how you want to play per installed game.
Design and size I think the Razer Basilisk V3 is a nice gaming mouse to hold in my hand. It's a medium-sized mouse, which makes the mouse fine for most people. However, if you have smaller hands, you may not be able to reach the extra button near your thumb. The design itself is also nice. I rest my thumb on the mouse, which makes me relaxed game. This is a wired mouse and is therefore attached to a wire. The wire itself is also simple, so I can easily hide it in my setup. As a result, I do not find it disturbing that the Basilisk V3 is wired. This gaming mouse from Razer also has minimalistic RGB lighting around and on the mouse, so it fits nicely into my setup.
Good specifications In addition to the normal left and right mouse button, there are 8 extra buttons that I give each its own action. I set this per installed game, which is a cool feature. Furthermore, this mouse also has a good sensor up to 26000 DPI. I myself do not use the mouse at the highest DPI settings, but this does tell you what range this gaming mouse has. I play a lot of open world, puzzle and shooter games myself, so switching between DPI settings is very nice.
personalize What I really like about this gaming mouse is that I can fully personalize it to my needs. For example, do you play many different games like I do? Then you can set the buttons completely for each installed game. This is easily done via the Razer Synapse software. As soon as I connect the mouse, I immediately get the pop-up to install the software. That way I don't have to search for which software to install. In addition to customizing the buttons, it is also possible to change the RGB lighting on the mouse. I even set this so precisely that the mouse gets its own color for each light sector.
Are you looking for a gaming mouse that you can completely personalize and with extra buttons for different game genres? Then the Razer Basilisk V3 is a good gaming mouse with many options for every kind of game.

According to our mouse expert
Program 5 buttons as you like for extra comfort and benefits during gaming.
With peripheral lighting, the mouse can light up in 16.8 million colors.
You can adjust the resistance of the scroll wheel, so you can easily change weapons or set up the right distance for your scope.
While you hold the DPI clutch, it's harder to reach the thumb buttons.
For players of competitive shooters, Razer presents the precise Razer Basilisk Gaming Mouse. With many gaming mouses, you can adjust the DPI, and with the Razer Basilisk, you can do that more precise with the DPI clutch. As long as you press and hold this button, you work with the DPI value you chose, so you can snipe with a lower DPI, or make a 180 turn quickly with a higher DPI. Program the 5 buttons as you like for extra comfort and benefits during gaming. The mouse also has peripheral lighting, so you can give extra color to your gaming setup. In addition, the new optical sensor provides pixel perfect tracking, so you can accurately hit your opponents. The mechanical switches in the mouse buttons register every click, so you don't fall back to spray and pray tactics out of frustration.
