The design of the screen is very sleek for a 34" curved gaming screen, you can also use this screen in an office. The colors of the VA panel are very good straight out of the box, extensive calibration is (when you not used for eg photo editing) not necessary. The LG OnScreen Control, which can be installed with any LG monitor, is great. You can change all your settings and organize your screen via software.

Unfortunately, the viewing angle of this monitor is disappointing. The sides get a bit blurry when you're close to the screen. And at the bottom, because of the placement of the backlight, a whole row of pixels is lost. This will not be a problem for people with a MacBook or Windows users who do not have their taskbar at the bottom. But when you use Windows in the standard way, the blue status bar of an open application disappears completely. Since I mainly use the monitor for office work, the screen was unfortunately unusable. Also, the monitor was not very firmly on the foot.

An alternative? After some more research, I finally arrived at the iiyama G-Master Red Eagle GB3466WQSU-B1. This screen does not have the above problems and is very good in terms of color values out of the box. A bit more expensive.
