According to our monitor expert
This monitor is suitable for both PC and next-gen console gaming, for example with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, you'll experience very smooth images while gaming.
You can enjoy razor-sharp graphics thanks to the 4K resolution and DisplayHDR 400 support.
A 43-inch screen is very large and also takes up a lot of space, so make sure you have enough space and a sturdy desk.
Note: for 4K gaming, you need a powerful video card like an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU or AMD Radeon RX 5000 series GPU.

Design
It was high time for me to buy a new screen. I previously had three 16:10 screens, the middle one was 1600p and the one on the sides 1200p. I mostly played games on the center screen. Only a handful of games took advantage of the other two screens. Three screens also take up a lot of space on your desk.
I traded in my three screens for this screen. After a week I still added a 1080p screen vertically to my computer setup because that's nice for productivity.
Talk about productivity. This screen is great for productivity. You can easily open two windows side by side without it being annoying. I program myself for my work and education. I can easily put two windows side by side in my code editor and sometimes I even put three windows side by side with only minimal impact on workspace.
The screen is also very nice for watching movies and series, but only after some adjustments. There is a problem with watching some media on this screen. Because most screens have relatively more vertical space, a black bar will appear above and below videos to fill that space. This screen has more than enough space on the sides so in principle the video can be displayed wide enough that no bars are needed above and below. Here's just the problem, some videos have those bars at the top and bottom encoded in the video. This gives you black bars at the top, bottom and sides, as if you are watching the video through a letterbox. Fortunately, this can largely be solved by means of browser plugins.
This screen contains about HDR, now I just don't really have a good experience with it. I notice especially with non-HDR content that it can look very bad when HDR is on. I personally cannot observe the improvement it can give with HDR content. So I turned HDR off.
I recently switched to an Nvidia RTX 3070. I connected this screen via displayport. Then a number of problems arose: 1, The screen went black occasionally. This turned out to be because my second screen was connected to HDMI. Apparently that can cause this behavior. I also connected my second screen to a displayport via an adapter and now it doesn't do this anymore. 2, Freesync didn't work. This screen is not officially G-sync compatible but it can do it. If you want to turn this on you just have to make sure that your video card uses displayport 1.4, the cable is displayport 1.4 and you have to turn on displayport 1.4 in the screen settings and turn on freesync. when all that is in order, you can activate G-Sync in the Nvidia control panel. I wonder how well that works. 3, Turn on HDR. Like Freesync/Gsync, your displayport 1.4 chain should be OK. There is an HDR option in the screen that you then have to turn on. Then you can turn on HDR in Windows screen settings.
Now the gaming with this screen. For what this screen costs it is really great. The high resolution makes everything look sharp. Because the screen is so wide, you are much more in the game. The accurate colors make everything look beautiful. The 144 Hz ensures that the game feels smooth. And then you have Freesync. As I mentioned above, I use an Nvidia card. Nvidia does not support Freesync by default. Only some Freesync screens are Gsync compatible. But every now and then you get lucky with a Freesync monitor and it also works with G-Sync. That is the case with this screen. Only some games have flickering in loading screens. But once the game has started, you often immediately notice the difference with G-sync. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, I'd say try it out. The only thing you have to pay attention to if you want to game with this screen is the high resolution. You need a decent video card to drive this screen, especially if you want to reach that 144Hz.
When I bought this screen my computer had an Nvidia GTX 970. This card was not able to get everything out of this screen. If I set the screen to 144 Hz, text became difficult to read. HDR didn't work. G-Sync didn't work either. Games never came close to 144Hz so it wasn't much use.
So my conclusion, It is a super good screen for gaming, media and productivity. But if you don't game, it's better to buy a screen without all the game features such as Freesync and 144Hz. If you do buy it for gaming, note that you need a decent PC to use all the functions of this screen. It can also take a bit of fiddling to get everything to work properly.
In any case, I am very satisfied with it.

I was looking for an affordable ultrawide for mixed use (gamning/office), this one works fine. Thanks to the ultrawide design, you can easily open 3 windows with documents side by side. This makes a second monitor superfluous.
While gaming (COD warzone) you have a larger field of view

I received an exchange for this iiyama G-Master GB3467WQSU-B5 due to the excellent service from Coolblue when I returned the LG UltraGear 34GP63AP-B monitor.
In this price range, this monitor is almost unbeatable. A 3440x1440p ultrawide with 550 cd/m² brightness and HDR display where you really notice the difference compared to SDR + a refresh rate of up to 165hz, wow!
This was my first experience with the "iiyama" brand, but what a good first impression! Highly recommended if you want to get value for your money.
