eufy Video Doorbell E340

Sent back as it was no improvement on my Eufy 2K doorbell (from 3 years ago!)

I took this bell as an extension of our camera system. The integration in the homebase works flawlessly and the installation of the bell was simple and quick. The image is sharp and clear, even at night. However, it does not detect all movements. Sometimes we walk past the bell without it having seen us. This could also be due to the fact that it is hanging close to a wall (as stated in the manual). The bell works via the Homebase, which in itself functions as a 'chime'. So there is no need to order an extra chime if you have a homebase unit. You also receive a notification on your smartphone, but before the app has started and you are connected to the bell, 20 seconds have already passed ... The battery life is also excellent. Our bell has been hanging for 1 week now and still has 75% battery. At this pace, I suspect that charging it once a month should suffice.

Beautiful and well-finished hardware with good image and sound, but the installation and settings are a bit of a puzzle. (at least for me) But after a while of puzzling and trying, I managed to get everything working, but not yet as I would like, but it will turn out fine. These are the first items from Eufy, but there will certainly be an expansion.
