With an Auto Assist subscription of € 3.99 per month, this thermostat has functions like geofencing to make it extra energy-efficient.
The radiator thermostat is compatible with Matter, so you can connect it with other smart devices.
You need a starter pack to use this radiator knob.
The radiator knobs don't work with older Tado products.

Description

Control the temperature per room with the Tado Smart Radiator Knob X. You can control the radiator thermostat via the app on your smartphone. Here, you can set extra functions to save energy. Thanks to geofencing, the thermostat knows where you are in your home so the heating turns off when you're not there. Or create schedules for this so the heating is never unnecessarily on. For functions like geofencing, you do need an Auto Assist subscription. This costs € 3,99 per month. The radiator knob works with the smart home standard Matter. This means you can connect it to other Matter devices. When the battery is empty, you can charge it with a USB-C cable. Note: this radiator thermostat doesn't work without the Tado starter pack of the X series.

good solution for the right temperature and insight per room
- The app is clear, easy and handy. Many possibilities
- Mounting on the radiator was easy.
- You do need some patience during the initial registration. Make sure your phone with app and Radiator thermostat are near the tado thread border router.

We replaced our remeha thermostat with tado + smart radiator valves 6 weeks ago. We saved 30% energy in the first month. If this continues, we will quickly recoup the investment. We are very happy, and also because it is now only warm when it needs to be warm in the (bath)rooms.

I wanted to be able to set our room to a temperature. With Tado that is quite difficult and maybe even impossible. But I keep trying to improve the settings
