With our house from the sixties, a wired backbone is not an option. That is why I opted for a strong router in the middle of the house. With Wi-Fi 7 I can use the latest technology. Most routers with 6GHz are not as strong as this one on 5GHz. Because it will take a while before 6GHz is the standard, I opted for a lot of speed on the 5GHz band and to leave out 6GHz. This is not only fast, but also has 8 LAN ports. The software is very extensive, but still simple. All in all a great product.

At the moment I have Business Internet Pro, where I had a lot of problems with video calling with Microsoft Teams due to my previous router. I wanted to rule out that it was due to an outdated router and also wanted to be ready for the fiber optic connections. After unpacking the router, I spent some time trying to get it working through the various options. But after that, this router is a breath of fresh air in terms of speed, range and possibilities. After installation, I no longer had any problems with problems.

In addition, this router also offers WAN Aggregation so that you can go from your modem (bridge) to your router with two cables. This gives you a better load. A DUAL WAN is also possible. This is fairly easy to set up.

In addition, you can also set up a VPN server to give others access to your network. So that you do not have to open your ports.

When is this router suitable for you if you:

• Have a 10 GB or 2.GB WAN Fiber network at home and you only have 1 GB network
• When your switch also supports 10GB or 2.5 GB

Do not buy:

• When you have a network that is set up for 1GB

Installation was a bit complicated because the router did not recognize the modem (You have to reset the modem properly) Once that was sorted out, the router worked perfectly. Various WiFi networks with which you can separate the IoT and Guest from your regular network. Good insight into speeds and network load.
