If you take the Gen3 router you should definitely also take the High Performance (Gen 3 Router HP), otherwise the cables will not fit

It took some time to get things working because it was not known that the Gen3 Router had to be an HP version. It is the same router as the regular version only the connection between the power supply and the router is different. The connection seems to work but does not, you can not get the plug deep enough in the router. After the 3rd router we happened to have another cable in the box and this one fit nicely in the router but then again not in the power supply. We solved this by putting a Cat6 UTP connector in between so that the 2 cables form one whole. Everything works fine now!
