I tested the Samsung Galaxy A56 for a week and was particularly impressed by the cameras and the speed. I was also pleased with the battery and the screen, which I find difficult to operate with one hand.
Sharp photos and videos
I take sharp photos and videos with all 3 cameras on the Samsung A56. With the handy wide-angle lens, I can easily capture a large building in the photo. When I make a video, I choose 4K resolution, so my videos are extremely sharp. In low light, I notice that my photos have less detail, but I am still pleased with the quality of the cameras.
Fast smartphone
All the apps I use open quickly on the Samsung A56. This applies to games, social media apps and Spotify or YouTube, for example. I do notice that the A56 has a harder time with heavy apps, such as 3D games like Fortnite. Multitasking goes smoothly on this Samsung smartphone. I use multiple apps at the same time without any problems, such as Gmail and my Calendar app.
Large, colorful screen
I am impressed by the screen of the A56. Colors look vivid and I watch videos, series and films in high quality. I notice that moving images, such as animations or scrolling, look smooth thanks to the high refresh rate. The screen is quite large at 6.7 inches, which is nice when I play a game or watch a series. I do notice that I have difficulty reaching the top of the screen with my thumb when I hold the A56 with one hand.
Long battery life
With the battery of the A56, I almost always make it to the end of the day. Especially when I watch a video every now and then and otherwise mainly listen to music and send messages. When I play a game or make a lot of videos, I notice that the battery runs out faster. I charge the A56 the fastest with a 45W fast charger from Samsung. The battery is completely full again within about one hour.
