Braun Series 5 BT5520

Briefly tested, not pleased. Coolblue refuses returns because the product has been used, meaning you lose your money. No form of goodwill whatsoever; that is disappointing.

The Braun BT5520 is a subtle and practical trimmer that fits comfortably in the hand and is built to last. The ultra-sharp blade easily captures even the most stubborn hairs, making trimming smooth and even. The choice of 40 length settings in 0.5 mm increments is easily adjusted with a dial, requiring just a finger. The battery life of approximately 120 minutes is more than enough for multiple trims.

One drawback I did experience during testing: at the highest comb setting (20 mm), the device sometimes feels a bit less powerful; it takes a bit more effort to achieve truly full, dense sections. Also, the cutting length at low settings can sometimes vary slightly from hair to hair. The precision is good, but it does require some patience and a good angle. I also found that cleaning under running water is absolutely essential, as the blades quickly become clogged.

In short: a powerful trimmer with many advantages, especially for those who want to work in detail, but it is not without minor drawbacks in terms of ease of use at certain lengths.

Handy beard trimmer that meets my expectations. The length is easy to adjust, and the battery lasts a long time. During testing, I noticed it glides smoothly over my skin. The only thing I'd miss is a handy travel case.
