I upgraded my Wi-Fi 6 Fritzbox. Net, it's more of a loss than a gain for my current usage. I don't notice any difference in speed (with four children). However, my Wi-Fi 7 connection is noticeably worse in some areas, and this isn't even very far from the router. You'd expect it to slow down, but it maintains a higher speed, albeit much less stable. For example, I never had problems with video calls, but now I do. If I switch it to just 5 GHz (6 off), it works fine again. But then there's no added benefit compared to my older Wi-Fi 6 router. In fact, it worked better.
