The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is a professional drone that is suitable for commercial use. You can use it to make razor-sharp videos that you can edit extensively without loss of quality. The model is quite large and heavy, which makes it less easy to take with you on a trip.
Long flight time
I take the drone out of the supplied bag and immediately feel that it is quite heavy. Compared to the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, this model is also larger. This makes it feel sturdy. It makes it a little less suitable for traveling. The drone adds a lot of weight to your luggage. The higher weight is due to the battery with a long flight time. With a fully charged battery, I can fly for a maximum of 51 minutes. This is an improvement of 8 minutes compared to its predecessor.
Rotatable gimbal
A new feature of the Mavic 4 Pro is the 360-degree rotatable gimbal. I turn the gimbal all the way around, which makes it seem as if the drone itself is also rotating. This gives a nice effect to my videos. This way I fly forward and at the same time I turn the camera. This makes it look like the drone is doing a corkscrew loop. I think the drone flies very stable. It is not easily carried away by the wind. That is an advantage of the large design and the high weight. This sometimes happens with the DJI Mini drones.
Clear image and good zoom
The image of the drone is super clear. I see a lot of details and the colors are realistic. This is due to the Hasselblad camera with 4/3 inch sensor. This sensor is relatively large, which means that I can record clear videos even in situations with less light. The other 2 cameras have a slightly smaller sensor, but these images are also sharp. When I zoom in, the image quality remains good. I choose whether to zoom in 2.5 times or 6 times. I notice how close I get to subjects. I fly in the village where I live and film the church. With the 6x zoom I can still capture the church in a large image from a great distance.
Lots of memory
I find it handy that the drone has an internal memory of 64 GB. I expand this memory with a memory card of up to 1 TB. If the memory card gets full, I have the internal memory at my disposal. This way I know for sure that I have enough storage capacity for all my videos.
