Make sure you have enough open space under the oven panel for the door to tilt open. In our case, the installation dimensions were correct, but the panel below closed too high, so we had to place the oven on a raised platform and saw off part of the top panel of the kitchen. Not a problem if you're handy, but it's something to consider before buying.

We recently had the opportunity to try out the Whirlpool WMW47HMX combination microwave. We already had a similar appliance at home that was now six years old, so we were curious to see how it improved.

At first, it took some getting used to the controls. The buttons work a little differently than on our previous appliance: you have to press a bit more firmly, and the menu is structured differently. But once you get used to it, it's intuitive.

The preheat function is exceptionally efficient and fast. The convection function delivered excellent results – whether it was meat, pizza, or pasta, everything came out perfectly cooked and crispy. What struck us most was that the microwave function felt much more powerful than on our previous appliance, despite both having 900W of power.

The Crisp function is a handy addition for those who want to quickly put something crispy on the table. While it's not exactly the same as a traditional oven, it comes surprisingly close.

All in all, we are very satisfied with this appliance. It combines ease of use with powerful performance and versatility. We can therefore confidently recommend the Whirlpool WMW47HMX to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient combination microwave.

We use it daily for frozen meal prep while working out, and it works brilliantly. Meals heat evenly without any hard or dry bits. We sometimes have to stir it halfway through, especially if it's straight from the freezer, but otherwise, it's perfect. The oven function also works great – nachos, casseroles, cakes – everything comes out beautifully cooked and crispy. It takes some getting used to having to set the timer and then preheat it first, but it heats up quickly, so it's no problem.
