Marshall Middleton II Black

I find the Marshall Middleton II to be a compact speaker that delivers powerful and clear sound. Sound comes from every side of the speaker, so I feel like everyone in the room can hear the music clearly. I don't find the center button easy to press in the right direction.

Compact size I like the compact size, so it takes up little space in my bag. This makes it easy to take with me to the park, for example. I use the wrist strap to hang the speaker on my wrist, freeing up my hands. This allows me to wear the speaker even when my hands are full. When I'm carrying just the speaker, I prefer to hold it in my hand. I find the weight easier to carry because it doesn't dangle from my wrist. The speaker is heavier than other speakers of the same size, though.

Sound With the bass knob set to maximum, I hear good bass. This allows me to really enjoy pop and house music. For podcasts, I also set the bass to the highest level. This makes the sound a bit more powerful, making it sound more realistic. I also use the treble knob for clear highs. I also set this to maximum, which allows me to hear vocals clearly and distinctly. With podcasts, it helps me hear voices a bit more clearly. The sound comes from both sides of the speaker, so it doesn't matter where I'm standing. I still hear the music clearly throughout the room, for example, when I'm walking around the house while cleaning.

Controls

The bass and treble knobs feel sturdy. I press them firmly, but firmly. The middle knob performs various actions. I slide it left, right, up, or down and then press it. I don't always feel whether I'm sliding and pressing it correctly, which sometimes means I don't get the desired action.

Good speaker for on the road and at home.
