Fairphone Fairbuds XL Green

The Fairphone Fairbuds XL deliver balanced sound, making music sound natural with every song. Thanks to the foldable design and included carrying case, I can easily take them with me and keep them protected. Unfortunately, I don't find the noise canceling very strong.

Clear and balanced sound I find the headphones deliver balanced and clear sound. No pitch is too pronounced, resulting in a natural sound with every song. Vocals sound clear and distinct, and background instruments sound balanced and not overpowering. When I listen to genres with a distinct beat, I miss the depth in the bass notes. This makes house and techno music, for example, less effective. The app offers various equalizer settings. I find the sound of all the preset settings very soft. With the Studio setting, I adjust the sound to my preference. I set all the hertz bars to the maximum. Now the sound is louder and fuller.

Excellent noise canceling The headphones have noise canceling, which allows me to hear less of my surroundings. When I'm on the train, I barely hear the rumbling sound of the moving train. At the office, I do notice loud conversations or sudden noises.

Foldable design The earcups fold inward, making them easy to carry. I put them in the included carrying case to protect them. The headphones sit securely on my head because the earcups grip tightly around my head. This prevents the headphones from slipping off easily when I move my head. Controlling the headphones with the button on the right earcup feels natural. It allows me to quickly switch to the next or previous track. I can also easily turn the volume up or down.

Great headphones! The earpads aren't the most flexible, but otherwise they fit well and cover your ears perfectly.

A really nice pair of headphones. Beautiful design, good sound, durable, and made from ethical materials. Quality!
