With the Gardena MoveMatic, I can easily water my balcony plants thanks to its low weight. I only unroll the section of hose I need, so it doesn't get in the way. Since I don't have an outdoor tap, I did need a different connector.
Handy for small spaces
I have a small apartment with balconies at the front and back. Because the hose is partially inside the hose box, it doesn't snake through the entire house. I connect the garden hose in the kitchen because I don't have an outdoor tap. It is long enough for that. However, I did have to buy an extra connector because the included connector does not fit the kitchen tap.
Lightweight
I hold the hose box in one hand and the spray nozzle in the other. That works well because I don't have to drag anything behind me. The low weight is a real plus for me because I don't get a sore arm. I also grab the box more quickly for a quick watering.
Gentle stream for delicate plants
I use the included spray nozzle to water my herb pots and small planters. The stream is gentle, so I don't damage my young plants. Also, the water doesn't spray too far, keeping my balcony dry. However, the water jet is a bit strong for very small plant pots.
Easy storage
After use, I give the hose a short pull. The hose reel then automatically rolls up the hose. This way, the garden hose is back in the box in no time. I hang the spray nozzle on the side. Due to its small size, I lose very little space on my balcony or in the cupboard.
