Samsung 27-inch The MovingStyle Smart TV (2025)

The Samsung The MovingStyle is a special TV and tablet in one. I enjoy a simple, 27-inch smart TV with a 1440p screen. At the same time, it is a large tablet that I place anywhere. I watch a movie or series whenever I want. I find the included stand attractive, but impractical. The base is heavy, and I can't easily take it apart if it gets in the way.

Bright 1440p screen The Samsung The MovingStyle is a small 27-inch TV with a 1440p resolution. I find this sharp enough for this size. This allows me to see every detail in a movie, and YouTube videos appear sharp. Additionally, the screen has a matte anti-reflective coating. No matter where I place the TV or how brightly lit the surroundings are, the image remains clear. After installation, I notice that the TV's eco mode is enabled. This extends battery life, but the image quality and brightness are lower. Also, the difference between eco mode and the standard picture settings is very small. So, do you want to watch TV in a bright environment, for example outdoors? Then you are limited to the energy-guzzling dynamic mode.

Tablet design For a TV, the Samsung The MovingStyle is small, but in practice, I mainly use the screen as a tablet. From this application, the image suddenly feels very large. It feels like I am walking through my house with my computer monitor. This goes more smoothly than expected, though. For instance, the TV is lightweight, I can set it down stably with the stand, and I can quickly swipe through the Tizen smart platform thanks to the touchscreen. The screen also has a nice handle, making it easy to take with me. I find the TV ideal for the dining table, or when I want to watch a series in my garden.

Mobile stand

Would you rather not use the TV as a tablet? Then you can simply hang it on the mobile stand. This has a luxurious design that blends beautifully into a modern interior. I need the box for the installation, which I find inconvenient. I place the heavy base on its side and screw the rest of the stand to the bottom. Do you want to disassemble the stand later, for example for a move? Then you need to keep the box safe or come up with an alternative. Once connected, I think the TV looks nice on the stand. Still, I prefer using the TV as a tablet. That way, I prefer placing the screen in front of or next to me rather than adjusting the stand to my viewing angle.

Great TV for indoor and outdoor use in and around the house! Very easy to move, both by hand and on wheels!

I am super happy with my new MovingStyle. It is perfect for the home office, but also in the kitchen. And with summer just around the corner, I will soon be able to use it outside as well.
