Philips Baristina Latte BAR400/60 Black

What immediately struck me about this coffee machine is how simple everything works. The controls are logically structured, and you can get started quickly. I drink both espresso and latte, and both taste excellent. The coffee has a full flavor, and because you can adjust the strength, you can easily make a cup of coffee that suits your preference perfectly.

Another major advantage, in my opinion, is the maintenance. I have had machines before that required a lot of cleaning, but that is absolutely not the case here. The machine stays neat, and parts are easy to clean. The milk system is also practical to use. Furthermore, the machine makes less noise than expected, which is pleasant in the early morning. The design looks luxurious and modern without being overly obtrusive. All in all, a fine machine that combines quality and ease of use well.

I am very satisfied with the Philips Baristina Latte BAR400/60. The first thing that stands out is that it is a beautiful machine. It looks very nice on the counter and does not take up much space. The machine is also very easy to use. You get a fresh cup of coffee very quickly. A cappuccino is also made quickly. Just put the milk in the milk jug, choose how you want the milk frothed, and the machine makes the perfect milk foam. The milk is also heated well, making it a delightful experience. After use, the machine is easy to clean. This does not take much effort. So, I am a very satisfied user.

I have been using this machine for a few weeks now because I do enjoy drinking coffee with milk. But naturally, I want to do this without too much hassle with hoses or separate milk frothers. So I thought, this is the machine for me. And indeed, I must say that, broadly speaking, the machine does not disappoint me. The hot milk is easy to make. It comes with a small metal milk jug that you use to make milk foam or just hot milk. You turn the knob to the correct setting and then the machine does the work with just one press of a button. Wait until it is finished and you can start brewing your coffee. Which, by the way, is also very easy. You can choose between espresso and lungo, slide the coffee pistol to the right, and the coffee is brewed. However, you do have to throw away the coffee grounds after every brew. These do not fall into a coffee residue bin. So you can only brew one coffee at a time. Maintenance is simple, though some coffee grounds do remain behind, which sometimes still falls out after cleaning. I don't find this super bothersome. Another disadvantage is that you cannot adjust the strength yourself. There is a button for extra strong coffee, but even this is not strong enough if you only drink black coffee. So, do you drink real black coffee? Then you really need to adjust your taste with this machine. Otherwise, you won't be happy with it. You won't notice this much when using milk. All in all, a fine machine, but perhaps not for true coffee lovers.
