Great device. Scanning your house floor plan is done in a flash, and the robot navigates flawlessly. If there is suddenly an obstacle that wasn't there before, it finds another way.

It has to clean a fairly large area in our house and takes about three hours to do so (mopping and vacuuming in two directions). Because the battery charges quickly, battery life is not a hindrance in this regard. Moreover, the result is better than I expected. I assumed I would have to mop myself occasionally, but that doesn't seem to be the case for now. We also don't see any streaks, even on smooth floors when viewed against the light. The condition is that you let it work in two directions, which means it takes longer to finish. We have two dogs in the house, and you won't find any trace of their hair or paw prints after cleaning. There are no carpets, so we cannot share any experience regarding that. We let it do its work two to three times a week, at times when we are not at home. You can easily follow what it is doing in the app. You receive a notification and a logbook when it is finished.

We specifically chose this model because it does not use dust bags. However, the refill products are quite expensive (€39 for 1 liter of product). We have not yet tried the jet function or the camera function. For the time being, I am finding few replacement parts for this device, not even at Ecovacs itself (e.g., a new mop roller), probably because the device is very new. I hope these will become available by the time we eventually need to replace the mop roller.

Before this, I had a different brand of robot vacuum cleaner that didn't quite know where it needed to go in terms of navigation and also didn't do what it promised. This EcoVacs goes nicely under the sofa and right into the edges. For stubborn stains, it first sprays water on the stain to make it easier to loosen, and as a result, the result is clean every time it completes its round.
