Samsung OLED 65" S99H (2026)

The Samsung OLED S99H is intended for people looking for an OLED TV that stands out. The television features a luxurious matte screen without reflections and appears to float in front of the wall thanks to the FloatLayer design. Unfortunately, a Wireless One Connect Box is not included immediately, meaning you have to hide the cabling.

Glare-Free OLED screen The S99H is Samsung's brightest OLED TV of 2026. This is due to the high peak brightness and the Glare-Free matte screen. Not only do I enjoy the deep black levels of OLED pixels, but I can also watch a movie with many dark scenes during the day without any worries. Even in direct sunlight, black remains truly black and I see vivid colors. I consider this a major plus. Normally, the image on an OLED television is less realistic in a bright room, and you would be more likely to choose a mini LED TV. I consider the S99H one of the major exceptions. With this OLED TV, it doesn't matter where or when you watch a movie. Unique FloatLayer design

What immediately strikes me about the S99H is the FloatLayer design. The TV features a unique steel bezel, in front of which the rest of the screen appears to hang. As a result, the underlying bracket is completely concealed, and I cannot see it from any angle. I consider this a nice addition that makes the television a good choice for people who want a lifestyle TV with OLED picture quality. Unfortunately, the S99H is only "Wireless Connect Box Ready," and you do not receive this box with the television. Therefore, I cannot connect the TV wirelessly to my peripherals without making additional purchases.

165Hz refresh rate for gamers The OLED S99H is also a good choice for gamers. The TV has a refresh rate of 100Hz, with a variable refresh rate of 165Hz for games. I can clearly see this in PC games that support this refresh rate via NVIDIA G-Sync. The TV then displays 165 frames per second, making fast actions and movements look fluid. I recommend the TV if you have a powerful PC in your living room, or if you want to use the TV for a future PlayStation or Xbox that supports 165 hertz. With a PlayStation 5, this is unnecessary, and you will be fine with a 100 hertz TV.

Beautiful TV that looks great in our interior. Finally, I can watch TV without annoying glare. Even when the series or movie has many dark scenes, you can clearly see what is happening. I am very happy with it.

The TV has an ultra-slim profile that allows it to be mounted very flush and elegantly against the wall. The combination of great picture quality and a sleek, minimalist design makes this the perfect TV for the living room for me. Thanks to the matte Glare Free coating, I can watch TV effortlessly even during the day, without having to close the curtains. The picture quality is truly excellent; even a standard YouTube video looks many times better than on my previous television. I use a soundbar myself, but the sound from the built-in speakers is surprisingly good for such a thin TV. It is a shame that no One Connect Box is included and that, unfortunately, it cannot be ordered separately either. Unfortunately, you also have to take out a subscription for the Art TV feature; I think this is a waste, given that the TV comes with a hefty price tag.
