Roborock Qrevo Edge 2X Black

Excellent after two weeks. I previously had a Neato, but this one is definitely better. Even mopping works excellently. Here, it is mainly intended to make everything spotless. You can never tackle thick stains with a device like this. It lifts the mop head neatly on carpet. It navigates well. Sometimes very cautiously, though. During the first runs, the robot scans the house and maps it out. I did have to adjust the rooms a bit, but that was easy with the app. The app is very comprehensive, by the way, and everything is configurable. Take your time with that. I am curious how long it will keep working well. So I did get a 5-year warranty package with it. The only concern is the data being sent to China, but oh well...

We are very satisfied with this product! There are 3 ways to control it: verbal instructions (in French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, and Thai), via the App (more languages are available, including Dutch), or on the robot itself.

It automatically recognizes carpets and then switches to more intensive vacuuming. Many settings are possible regarding water quantity, vacuuming intensity, the order in which rooms are cleaned, routines, etc.

We had a problem once when we switched floors, but this was because the docking station was facing the wrong direction. We had to rotate the map in the app, after which the robot worked fine again.

It is important not to leave cables and shoelaces lying on the floor, but I think all robot vacuums get stuck on that. You simply get a notification in the app that the robot has stopped because it got stuck, but there is no damage.

For stairs, the manual indicates that you need to physically barricade them, but I simply designated the stairs as a forbidden zone, so it doesn't go there anymore. Moreover, it is also equipped with fall sensors to prevent falls.

It won't fit under our 7.8cm high cabinets, but above 8cm it's no problem. We are going to raise our cabinets a little.

No downsides, everything is perfect
