TP-Link Deco BE68 4-pack

Finally super good (and stable) Wi-Fi after months of 'fiddling' with the internet provider's equipment. Easy installation with the Deco app.

The product is easy to install. No more separate 5GHz network. All bands are available on 1 SSID.

I bought 2 sets of 3 units. Now I have good Wi-Fi throughout the entire house, including the basement and attic, and extending far back into the garden. At first, the TV app on my phone stopped working. It turned out that this was because the system was behind an internet router and therefore didn't need to be its own router. I configured the system as Access Points and now everything works fine. By default, this setting is set to Router. Once everything was set up correctly, streaming TV also worked well. I set the SSID the same as the old system, and all devices connected again without problems and without having to reconfigure everything. The system does offer a separate IoT network, but you do have to set up all your devices again. For me, it works fine on 1 SSID for now.

Very poor product. I already had experience with the previous Deco M9 series where the Wi-Fi signal is not stable and often suffers from interference, but (unfortunately) I chose TPLink again because of the ability to combine satellites.

As long as all connections are wired, there is no problem. High speeds and stable. The problem lies mainly in the stability of the Wi-Fi system. The internet connection drops too often and images have to be buffered too frequently. When the internet is working, the speed is good, by the way (easily 1gb down and up with standard fiber).

Additionally, the app is very annoying. The display of the connections and the devices connected to the various satellites does not correspond to reality, which makes it difficult to test properly.

All in all, another major disappointment and a waste of money.
