Because I don't want an OLED, I searched for the best LCD TV with a nearly OLED experience, but for a fraction of the price of an OLED.
With this Quantum dot MiniLED TV, you come pretty close. With 180 dimming zones, black is truly black.

The installation went very smoothly. Plug it in, set up Wi-Fi, and you're done. The F1 Pro app is also easy to download and works immediately and without problems – just start it up and watch. The picture quality is really good. Beautiful colors, a sharp image, and strong contrast. Thanks to QLED technology and Mini LED lighting, you see a lot of detail, even in dark scenes. The matte screen is a major advantage: no problems with reflections during the day. The sound is decent, but could be a bit more powerful. It is sufficient for regular TV, but those who often watch movies or listen to music will get more out of the TV with a soundbar. Google TV is user-friendly and responsive. Everything is neatly grouped and works without delay. This TV also performs strongly for gaming. Images run smoothly and respond immediately.

Improve the sound of your TV with this TCL QD Mini-led 98" T8D (2026) + TCL A65K TV and soundbar bundle.
TelevisionEnjoy strong contrast and high brightness with the TCL QD Mini-led 98" T8D (2026). This television has a Mini-LED screen type. That means you'll see deep blacks and bright highlights. You can also watch during the day without issues from ambient light or sun reflections. This TV supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. This way, you'll see more detail in dark images and more color tones in bright images. The 4K resolution shows more than 8 million pixels, so every detail looks sharp.
SoundbarYou'll feel fully immersed in action movies with the TCL A65K (2026). This lifestyle soundbar includes a free subwoofer. This speaker improves the bass of the soundbar, so movies sound even more realistic. This way, you can enjoy a movie theater-worthy viewing experience in your own living room. You'll hear every detail of an explosion. You can connect this soundbar and subwoofer to each other wirelessly, so you can enjoy a clean TV setup. You won't see an extra cable running along your TV stand. The A65K soundbar has 3 front-facing channels and 2 upward-firing channels, designed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. That means you'll hear sound not only in front of you, but above you as well.
