Because I don't want an OLED, I searched for the best LCD TV with a nearly OLED experience, but for a fraction of the price of an OLED.
With this Quantum dot MiniLED TV, you come pretty close. With 180 dimming zones, black is truly black.

The installation went very smoothly. Plug it in, set up Wi-Fi, and you're done. The F1 Pro app is also easy to download and works immediately and without problems – just start it up and watch. The picture quality is really good. Beautiful colors, a sharp image, and strong contrast. Thanks to QLED technology and Mini LED lighting, you see a lot of detail, even in dark scenes. The matte screen is a major advantage: no problems with reflections during the day. The sound is decent, but could be a bit more powerful. It is sufficient for regular TV, but those who often watch movies or listen to music will get more out of the TV with a soundbar. Google TV is user-friendly and responsive. Everything is neatly grouped and works without delay. This TV also performs strongly for gaming. Images run smoothly and respond immediately.

According to our television expert
With this bundle, you'll enjoy rich sound with deep bass.
Thanks to the Mini-LED display, you can watch bright images with powerful contrast.
This TV supports all popular HDR formats, such as Dolby Vision.
You see less realistic colors than with an RGB Mini-LED TV.
Listen to the deepest bass with this TCL QD Mini-led 98" T8D (2026) + TCL Q85K TV and soundbar bundle.
TelevisionEnjoy strong contrast and high brightness with the TCL QD Mini-led 98" T8D (2026) + TCL Q85K. This television has a Mini-LED screen type. That means you'll see deep blacks and bright highlights. You can also watch during the day without issues from ambient light or sun glare. This TV supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. This way, you'll see more detail in dark images and more color tones in bright images. The 4K resolution shows more than 8 million pixels, so every detail looks sharp.
SoundbarListen to deep bass with the TCL Q85K (2026). You get a separate subwoofer with this soundbar. This means you'll hear deep bass and feel more immersed in an action movie. You'll hear every detail of an explosion. The Q85K has 7 front-facing channels and 2 upward-firing speakers. With the front-facing channels, you'll hear clear sound and distinct voices, so you won't miss anything from your favorite TV shows. The 2 upward-firing channels work together with the Virtual Dolby Atmos technology for a spatial viewing experience. These speakers bounce sound off the ceiling to your seating area. This way, the sound in a movie comes from different directions. For example, you'll hear an airplane above you in an action movie.
