You can place it anywhere with good WiFi reception, both indoors and outdoors. You connect the Google Nest Cam Indoor Wired to the power grid. This camera isn't waterproof and you can only place it indoors. Both cameras record in Full HD and HDR. That way, you also get clear recordings when bright light shines into the camera. The cameras can distinguish people, animals, and objects. In addition, you can easily create activity zones. That way, you only receive notifications when something relevant happens. You receive these notifications in the Google Home app. Note: you need a Nest Aware subscription to use all of the options like saving and sharing footage. This costs € 5 per month.
