How do you use Bosch i-DOS?

Before you use Bosch i-Dos, you have to set up a few things. Fill the reservoirs, decide if you want to use 1 or 2 detergents, and set up the base dosage to the right number of millimeters. In this article, you can read exactly hot to set up i-DOS on your washing machine.

Step 1: fill the reservoir with detergent

First, fill the detergent reservoir with the detergent you use most often. You can find the reservoir for liquid detergent on the right of the drawer. Open the i-DOS 1 cover, and fill the detergent until you reach the MAX line. That way, you don't have to refill the drawer for some time.

Step 2: fill the reservoir with fabric softener

In addition to your detergent, you can also dose your favorite fabric softener with i-DOS. For this, you can fill the left reservoir in the middle of the detergent drawer. Open the i-DOS 2 cover, and fill the drawer with fabric softener until you reach the MAX line.

Step 3: use 2 different detergents

Do you have an i-DOS 2 appliance, and don't you use fabric softener? You can also use the left reservoir for an extra detergent.

1: press and hold the i-DOS button for 3 seconds. With a Bosch HomeProfessional, you can click i-DOS on the left side of the display. 2: tap the i-DOS 2 button again to set up the detergent. This changes the flower icon into a droplet. Do you have a Bosch HomeProfessional? Use the arrows on the screen to switch the contents. 3: wait briefly to save the settings.

Step 4: set up base dosage

The base dosage of your detergent depends on which detergent you use. You can find how many milliliters the appliance has to use on the detergent bottle. Find the recommended milliliters for a 4 or 5kg load of laundry on the bottle, and set this up on the washing machine:

1: press and hold the i-DOS 1 button for 3 seconds. With a HomeProfessional, you press i-DOS. 2: use the display buttons to raise or lower the number of milliliters. 3: wait briefly to save the settings.

Step 5: turn off i-DOS

If you prefer to add your detergent and fabric softener manually, you can simply turn off i-DOS. Click the i-DOS 1 and 2 buttons until the flower and droplet icon are off. With a Bosch HomeProfessional, you tap the i-DOS button. Now that your washing machine doesn't use automatic detergent dosing, you can fill the compartment on the far left with your own detergent. To activate i-DOS again, you can simply repeat the steps.
