Charge older Apple devices with a USB to Lightning cable. These cables have a Lightning connector on one end, which fits the iPhone 14 and older iPhone models as well as older iPad models. You need a USB-C cable for the iPhone 15 or newer and more recent iPad models. These USB-A to Lightning cables only fit in old USB-A chargers, not new USB-C fast chargers. Nylon and kevlar cables last longer than plastic cables. This means you don't have to replace your cable as often. With an extra long 2 or 3m cable, you can also use sockets that are farther away.
