With a Quick Charge charger, you can charge certain Android smartphones extra fast. After half an hour of charging, the battery of your device is already about 50% full. Fast charging via a Quick Charge charger only works if the device also supports Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0. The A series from Samsung and some Nokia and Motorola smartphones have Quick Charge. Samsung has its own variant of Quick Charge, Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge. Because this is so similar to Quick Charge, you don't necessarily need an Adaptive Fast Charge charger for Samsung smartphones. Quick Charge works equally well.
