Bought to replace my old LCD with fluorescent backlights with an energy efficient monitor of the same size. As a result, I have earned back the costs of this monitor via the energy bill within 3 years.
Quiet, sharp, clear image with good colors. Good, even white and black, no noticeable backlight bleed. Screen switches back from sleep mode very quickly. Contrary to the specs here, the screen itself is not glossy but matte.
Supplied with table stand, but the monitor hangs on the wall using a 100x100 VESA standard wall bracket.
Unfortunately only an (analog) VGA cable included, but luckily I had extra HDMI and DVI cables to connect the monitor digitally. An audio cable is also included, but because my motherboard supports it, the audio can also be sent via the HDMI cable, so the audio cable was not necessary in my case.
Audio through the built-in speakers is very disappointing: sound resembles an old transistor radio and the two so-called 'stereo' speakers are side by side on one side of the back of the monitor. Sufficient for system sounds and instructional videos, but certainly not for music or games... but okay, I'll grab my headphones for that, so no problem for me. Audio can also be set up 'stand-alone', so that the speakers stay on even if the monitor goes into sleep mode (but then they continue to use power, of course).
Overall satisfied with my purchase. A good price/quality ratio for an energy-efficient IPS monitor.
