Positive experience;

For years we had a Miele, but because the drum was damaged we needed a new washing machine. After a long search, we chose this washing machine. We just got it, but are very happy with it.

It is already an energy-efficient model, but because the laundry comes out so clean, we wash our normal laundry at 30 degrees. That saves a little extra on the energy bill. Maybe the "OKO-mix technology" will help, but we don't know if it's because of that.

We have not yet used the options to wash laundry briefly or only to freshen up. This is because we haven't had a washing machine for a while and have some catching up to do. We will certainly use the ökopower program of 59 min (5kg), the refresher program of 20 min (3kg) and the steam program (1.5kg) in the future.

So far we have only used the cotton program. This is the only program that can wash 8kg. We find it very convenient that we can wash so much at once. When washing with other programs/fabrics, much less can be put in the drum (3kg), but that also applies to other/smaller washing machines.

It is also a silent washing machine. It is a little noisier when washing than I thought. It's still quiet, but I didn't expect to hear the water splash. The centrifugation, on the other hand, is not that bad for me! I would be surprised if the machine actually produced 77db, we find it very quiet there.

Less good experience;

It doesn't matter to us that the washing machine takes a long(er) longer than a normal wash. This is of course personal.

I only have less good experience with the casing of the washing machine. When I tried to slide the appliance into place, this resulted in a fairly large dent under the door of the washing machine. With the Miele, I could have kicked it with a steel-toe shoe without getting a dent.

In addition, the glass of the door can become much warmer/hotter than that of the Miele. With a wash of 60 degrees the glass is already hot, so with 95 degrees I would definitely be careful with children.

Finally, Samsung washing machines at 1400 rpm (on paper) can achieve the same drying result as the AEG at 1400 rpm. That is of course better for the clothes.
